This model represents a crofter’s cottage typical of those found in Scotland and Ireland. It is inspired by Bell a’Phuill’s cottage, which can be found at the Auchindrain township near Inveraray in Scotland.
The model comprises a single storey thatched cottage with a loft platform for sleeping and storage. A well in a garden surrounded by a ramshackle fence is also included.
