Prices & Payment
The price payable for the goods you order is set out upon the Herdwick Landscapes web site. The cost of carriage, plus any charges for insurance, may also be charged to you depending upon the delivery arrangements agreed with yourself.
As a part of your contract with us, you agree that all details you provide for the purpose of ordering goods are correct and that you have sufficient funds to cover the cost of the order.
A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required upon placing an order for commissions and dolls houses. If your order is a one-off commission then we may also require a further payment midway through the project
All goods remain the property of Herdwick Landscapes until payment is made in full.
Cancellation of Orders
If necessary, orders may be cancelled within 14 days of being placed. Any cancellation after this period will result in the loss of the deposit.
Shipping and Handling
Products will be dispatched only after confirmation of payment.
As our products are hand-made, completion times may vary considerably depending upon the amount of orders being processed at the time. You will be advised of the time scale at the time you place your order.
We will contact you to agree the most suitable means of delivery. Depending upon the delivery service you require, an additional charge for postage, packaging and insurance may be required. International customers will be responsible for any customs charges that may be incurred.
We accept no responsibility for any failure or delay in the supply of goods or any damage or defect caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to industrial disputes, transport failures or accidents, acts of terrorism, theft). In the event of any damage incurred whilst in transit with a carrier, the customer should keep all packaging and notify Herdwick Landscapes immediately. We will handle any appropriate claim against the carrier and, whenever possible, replace/refund your order, although this may not take place until after compensation has been received from the carrier.
We hope you will not need to return any items but if you do for any reason then you must contact Herdwick Landscapes in advance and within seven days of receipt. Please note the comments above concerning damage whilst in the care of a carrier.
You will be responsible for covering the cost of carriage of any items you return unless they are faulty or the wrong goods have been supplied. As far as is reasonably possible, you will be responsible for ensuring their safe delivery.
International customers are responsible for any taxes or duties payable upon returns. Any such costs will be deducted from the refund.
Our products are collector’s items and are not intended for children under 14 years.
Herdwick Landscapes will not send any of your personal information to any third party.
Herdwick Landscapes reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
These Terms & Conditions do not affect your consumer statutory rights.
Herdwick Landscapes reserves the right to change any details upon its website at any time, including prices and product specifications.
Herdwick Landscapes aims to ensure all information upon its website is correct but cannot guarantee it will be error free. We will endeavour to amend any errors or omissions as soon as we become aware of them.

3 Simple steps to placing your order
1. Please read our Terms & Conditions and all the information on this page before placing your order.
2. Select your item(s).
3. Contact us with your order either by e-mail at email@example.com or by telephone on 01543 500416 (mobile - 07760 373 113).
For commissions and dolls houses we may ask for a non-refundable deposit of 20%. Please note that in the case of one-off commissions a further payment may be required mid-way through the project.
Payment can be by cheque, cash or bank transfer. Please make any cheques payable to Mr. & Mrs. P.A. Kelsall. Or you can use your credit card by using PayPal (see below).
We will confirm receipt of your deposit and inform you when we intend to begin work on your cottage.
- We are happy to listen to any special requests you may have for the design of your dolls house. Whenever possible we will accommodate your wishes. Please bear in mind that this may involve an extra charge depending upon the nature of your request.
- If you wish to pay by credit card we will ask you to return to this page and click on the PayPal link below. This will take you to PayPal’s secure web site where you will be able to pay by providing your credit card details. You do not need a PayPal account to do this but you will be asked to provide an e-mail address.
- Alternatively, you can use your own Paypal account to pay directly into our Paypal account (firstname.lastname@example.org).

2. Then either pay with your credit card or log in to your PayPal account to pay from there.
NOTE: please ensure you have notified us of your order before paying by this method.
Time-scales for Completion
Kits and furniture are sent out as soon as payment is received.
All our houses are made to order. Very occasionally, we may have the item in stock, in which case, delivery will be very quick. Otherwise, we will always advise you of the current time-scale involved when you place your order. In the case of commissions, all aspects relating to timescales and delivery will be discussed at the time of placing the order.

Commissions and Dolls Houses
When your order is complete we will contact you to arrange delivery and, if applicable, the balance of your payment. In all cases, your order will be posted only when we receive full payment. All items will be sent by the most economical guaranteed service and may need to be signed for.
All items will be robustly packed. However, in the event of your order arriving damaged, it is important that you keep all the packaging, as this will be needed when making a claim.
