Established in 1985, the Kensington Dolls House Festival has become the leading event for craftsmen & miniatures enthusiasts to get together & enjoy their obsession.
Twice yearly fairs at Kensington Town Hall London.
Sally Reader Miniatures
Specializing in miniature dolls house toys, including a range of excellent Beatrix Potter characters.
Miniature Mansions is the home of elegant, hand-crafted creations by John Payne. Products include made-to-order dolls houses modelled on real house designs, and durable resin mouldings in 1/12 scale and 1/24 scale.
Miniature Scene UK
1:12 scale high quality, handmade fireplaces that are reproductions of original fireplaces.
Modern and period style dolls. 1/24th scale dolls available to order as well as 1/12th and even 1/48th.

Museum of Lakeland Life & Industry
Our ancestors are long gone, but their belongings live on to tell their story - from the yeoman farmer to the landed gentry, into living history.
The Brownes were just an ordinary farming family, but their home and belongings bring to life more than 400 years of extraordinary stories.
Enjoy the tale of Beatrix Potter - Hill Top is a timecapsule of this amazing woman’s life. Full of her favourite things, the house appears as if Beatrix had just stepped out for a walk.
Wordsworth’s former home, impressively situated above Rydal and furnished with furniture of the period.

St. Fagan’s Museum
An impressive outdoor museum near Cardiff. Many of the buildings are accessible but if you wish to see anything in particular it is best to check it is open before you make the journey.
A small site near Inverary, Scotland, with numerous cottages and farm buildings. The last surviving and best preserved example of a joint tenancy township, a settlement type that was common in Scotland up to 200 years ago.
A fine Jacobean Manor in the Cotswolds. Hardly touched over the years, it contains much period furniture and original fittings.
Selly Manor, Bournville, Birmingham
A fascinating Tudor manor house complete with period furniture from various parts of the country, including the Lake District.
Medium-sized open air museum near Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
J.B. Banks & Son Ltd.
This is a traditional ironmongers in Cockermouth that has a wide array of old tools, weapons and other paraphernalia both on display and for sale. There is also a museum at the back of the shop in what was the Georgian tin smith and plumbers workshop.
